As a lifelong learner, I began my non-traditional career path working software support for Power Monitors Incorporated where I was given the opportunity to assume the vacant role as the IT Manager. I excelled in this role, taking on large projects and learning expansive skills at a rapid pace. The diverse exposure this role gave me brought together many skills such as Network Engineering, Software Development, System Administration(Primarily FreeBSD/Centos), AWS, Rackspace, and VZW Cloud Administration and Project Management.After honing my skills for several years I decided it was time to hone my craft somewhere I would have more opportunities for personal and professional development. I've been at James Madison University four years, and my skill set has flourished in that time. I've been able to take on larger software development roles, expand my AWS Cloud capabilities, and strengthen my Linux Administration skills.During my time as a Technology Professional, I've continuously sought additional education, certification opportunities, and expect to complete my Bachelor of Science Degree from James Madison University in 2021. I learn new technologies rapidly, have a strong eye for detail and have a knack for time and project management.
