Maintained and managed a quickly growing multi-tenant cloud environment at the USDA National Information Technology Center in Kansas City, MO using VMware virtualization technologies.Worked closely with customers to quickly deploy their systems into an IaaS-like infrastructure as well as providing ongoing support so as to provide high up-times for systems and work to provide the right balance of performance and resources needed to accomplish their goals.

I wore many hats while on the Infrastructure Team at Armed Forces Bank. I was a storage admin working with Xiotech and EMC storage arrays along with managing a Cisco MDS switching environment. I was the primary backup administrator for the organization where I gained several years of experience with CommVault's Simpana suite of backup and archive tools. I was also the primary VMware administrator beginning back in 2005 when it was first installed. I worked with the business and IT teams on virtualizing a large percentage of physical systems along with moving to a "virtual first" deployment method to reduce footprint and operating expenses. I was also one of two people that managed the server hardware infrastructure in regards to deployment, maintenance, inventory, troubleshooting, etc. Also gained detailed experience and knowledge in HP Blade infrastructures.
