Commercial and procurement professional with over ten year’s experience in large, highly complex construction, manufacturing and supply chain environments across multiple industries.Ausgrid has been operating for over 100 years and manages the largest electricity network in Australia. Its electricity network provides power to 1.6 million homes and businesses throughout Sydney, the Hunter, and the Central Coast. Regions, made up of more than 200 large electricity substations, 500,000 power poles, 30,000 small distribution substations and almost 50,000km of below and above ground electricity cables.• Management of multiple categories across the Ausgrid business to mitigate risk, identify opportunity and drive continuous improvement in line with policy and legislative requirements. • Lead a small team of analysts and contract managers to deliver portfolio objectives ensuring business continuity while identifying business efficiencies through market research, category analysis and spend trends.• Development and management of the sourcing road map and procurement pipeline for future planning, resourcing requirements and financial targets.• Review of existing contractual arrangement including securities, liabilities, insurances, liquidated damages defects liability periods and supplier KPIs to plan and prioritise based on business risk and opportunity.• Engaged by the business for multiple discrete projects due to my ability to engage complex stakeholders and manage teams to deliver outcomes.Achievements• Achieved over $4.8M in cost avoidance as a result of diligent deep dive analysis into proposed fleet agreements with third party providers.• Management of a highly sensitive and political HR & IR initiatives as a result of industry legislation changes, resulting in large scale FTE reductions in a highly-unionised environment.• Delivery of $3.3M in savings through leasing negotiations for light vehicles.
