Manufacturing and Operations advisor supporting efforts for seed capital in the energy storage/FESS environment.

SME Quality Auditor for manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, inventory and material flow. Industries include (but not limited to) pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive, food and beverage.

Head of Supply Chain (Temp): originally hired on for Production, but moved into a temp role to form/lead the Supply Chain organization at Heliogen. Grew the team from 2 to 20 people in 6 months while setting up processes in Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics and Supplier Quality. Manager of Logistics, Operations, Packaging, Plan for Every Part (PFEP), Material Flow and Production Development for the production of Heliostats, the first ever mass produced CSP mirror.

Global Supply Manager - GSM for all packaging and pack-out materials related to User Terminal production. Led initiative on consumables, VMI, labels and accessories (i.e. Carry Bag). Diligent supplier searching led to selection of insert plastics vendors that shaved 2 months off our lead-times and reduced cost from foam by 75%. Reduced overall packaging costs by 50% from launch until 5k per week production. Enterprise Sales - Stretch project supporting the Enterprise Sales Team (in parallel to my work in sourcing) responsible for a wide array of business sectors including RV’s, Rail, Energy and Healthcare. Led the closing of the first Angel Account contract in Quebec for 192 households for the federally sponsored Universal Broadband Fund (UBF). Project segued as a pilot for the Government of Quebec looking to utilize Starlink to support rural internet outreach for 100,000+ of its unconnected citizens. Closed $1.5M worth of contracts during my time with the Sales Team.

Responsible for consumer packaging design, piece-part PFEP, material flow and consumer end-to-end delivery of the Starlink User Terminal system.

o Custom developed a fully-integrated Packaging Specification System (within WARP), linking packaging to assembly BOM’s, warehouse tracking and inventory transactingo Developed and Integrated supplier packaging specifications, quality documents and returnable packaging programs. Reduced quality issue tickets by 90% in problematic areas and initiated cost savings of $1MM+ via returnable packagingo Led Packaging Development for V2 Crew Dragon Capsule which included 2000+ purchased and manufactured parts. Developed initiative to categorize parts by quality level tiers ensuring packaging met all required NASA/EELV cleanroom packaging requirements. o Designed and Integrated custom kit packaging for assemblies, increasing build efficiencies by 33% and reducing quality issues due to packaging/handling by 50% in areas of implementationo Developed innovative packaging and handling solutions for 250+ unique parts with damage costs over $10MM, reducing damage and improving handling efficiencies.
