International fisheries policy research and implementation of Marine Mammal Protection Act Import Provision. Portfolio includes outreach to foreign nations, providing guidance on MMPA Importation, building and maintaining database on abundance and bycatch limits for global marine mammal stocks based on best available science, and developing evaluation criteria.

Ensuring smooth and efficient daily operation of state-of-the-art genomics facility while also providing support for reaching long-term goals of the Institute. Specific duties included personnel management, purchasing, equipment repair, general trouble-shooting and liaising with greater AMNH facilities and personnel management.

Duties included ensuring the maintenance and growth of the program as well as providing field and laboratory support for researchers and students. Skills included budget management, purchasing, service and maintenance of equipment, fund-raising, liaison with internal and external partners.

Field research on population biology and behavior of humpback whales in Antongil Bay Madagascar. Duties included set-up, break-down, management, organization of international and multilingual field team, collection, maintenance and back-up of all data. Skills used included, leading team, photographic identification, acoustic sampling, biopsy sampling (crossbowmanship) and behavioral recording, as well as computer data-basing and maintenance.
