CurrentResponsible for design, development, oversight, management, and maintenance of database systems including data population, migration, normalization, and standardization for the Clinical Decision Support Department, Medical Affairs Division, for a public health care system consisting of a 953 licensed bed adult hospital (Grady Memorial), 82 licensed bed children's hospital (Hughes Spalding), 388 licensed bed long term care facility (Crestview), as well as emergency, urgent, and primary care clinics (~800,000 outpatient visits annually). Also, provides technical and application support and assist team members in information access. Generate reports and performs statistical analyses using complex data. Supports Clinical PI team by evaluating computing needs and resolves day to day challenges. Ensures routine backup/recovery of database systems and quality assurance evaluation of data. Manages all database engineering or database operations issues.• Created SQL based application that abstracts ventilated patients at risk for ventilator-acquired pneumonia based on complex CDC algorithm for closer physician monitoring and oversight.• Created SQL based program to more appropriately identify physicians attributed to cases• Responsible for reporting of hospital core measures data to publicly reporting agencies and Center for Medicare Services (CMS).• Certified in Clarity - EpicCare Inpatient - March 2012; Resolute Hospital Billing - June 2018; Grand Central and Prelude - June 2018.• Certified in Six Sigma - Green Belt, May 2015.
