I work for Independent Safety Services Ltd (ISSL) as a Waste Management Consultant and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor. I am an experienced auditor, with over eight years experience including waste management, dangerous goods and environmental management. Clients I have worked with include the largest NHS Trusts in England, private healthcare institutions, world reknowned higher education establishments and private manufacturers. I helped set up and operate the ISSL Quality and Environmental Management Systems that are UKAS certified.I am a Chartered Waste Manager within the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and an exam qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) for All Classes by Road and Air (all classes except Class 7). I successfully passed all course assessment requirements on the CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Training Course from BSI in October 2022.Prior to ISSL, I worked with CIWM as a Technical Advisor, coordinating five of the nine Special Interest Groups (SIGs).I completed an M.Sc in Integrated Environmental Studies at the University of Southampton in 2012 and obtained a merit. It brought together environmental issues and a wide range of environmental aspects in a holistic manner.I successfully completed an undergraduate degree in Geology at the University of Southampton in 2011, obtaining 2:1 honours.
