Led an initiative aimed at bridging the digital divide in underserved communities. Planned and taught technology, coding, and robotics courses across 10 Baltimore City recreational centers, engaging with 60 students to provide tech skills. In addition to teaching and mentorship, my role involved managing effective communication channels with families, students, co-teachers, and stakeholders, while also customizing curriculum to ensure maximum client satisfaction. Additionally, I skillfully managed a $5,000 budget for tech equipment and supplies, optimizing resource allocation and program sustainability. Through fostering meaningful relationships within the community, I worked to bridge the gap between technology education and workforce development, empowering underprivileged youth to thrive in the digital age.I also contributed to qualitative research for my supervisor's Ph.D. thesis at UMBC. This research delved into Human-Computer Interactions, human-centered design and community-driven tech development in underserved urban areas, providing valuable insights into the intersection of technology education and workforce development.

Plan and teach specially designed and differentiated lessons to support students with disabilities - grades prek to 5. Assess and collect data to write IEP goals and objectives aligned with Common Core Standards. Write IEPs, schedule meetings with other service providers, general educator, families. Provide instructional and testing supplemental aids and accommodations. Complete medical billing and compliance paperwork. Actively participate in professional learning community. Title 1 school serving high-poverty community with family engagement and challenging academic standards.

Designed from scratch and taught a STEM curriculum to 30 students grades 3-5. Managed a $500 budget. Through human-centered design I reached 60 students across 2 Baltimore City Schools. 100% students said that my instruction and the course was culturally relevant and helped them learn valuable technical and social-emotion skills - more so than typical school. I coordinated city-wide student performances/exhibitions. I also supervised volunteers, coordinated videography and promotion, managed classroom behavior, communicated with families, and kept records.

I successfully designed curriculum and set personal goals with ~100 students of all ages and encouraged family engagement. My teaching style is human-centered and seeks to unlock the student’s creative voice by mastering the fundamentals of music and technique. I fostered a positive learning environment characterised by honesty, communication, and joy. I also managed client relationships, book-keeping, correspondence and scheduling.

Streamlined government through tech. I worked on the flagship digital legislation software; developed partnerships with regional colleges, foundations, and lawmakers; engaged in recruiting efforts; wrote and published marketing and promotional materials.
