In my role, I've led a dedicated team of undergraduates in conducting comprehensive research on the legal ramifications affecting our clients' projects. This involved delving into various aspects of law to ensure informed decision-making and project success. Additionally, I orchestrated the incorporation of a C-Corp in the State of New York, overseeing the drafting of essential incorporation documents, stock-sharing agreements, bylaws, and tax-related paperwork. Navigating through intricate state incorporation and finance laws, I ensured adherence to federal, state, and local regulations to maintain legal compliance throughout our operations. Furthermore, I actively served on the board of directors, contributing insights and strategic direction to uphold the organization's mission and objectives. Through these endeavors, I've demonstrated a commitment to legal excellence and ethical leadership in driving impactful initiatives forward.

As the founder of the University of Maryland undergraduate chapter of the Federalist Society, I spearheaded initiatives aimed at fostering intellectual discourse and promoting engagement in government and public policy. This involved inviting a diverse array of speakers to campus to address topics spanning the political and legal spectrum. I organized events accommodating up to 130 attendees, overseeing all aspects from advertising to catering and audio/visual setup. While introducing members to a variety of political and legal viewpoints, I prioritized maintaining a respectful atmosphere conducive to constructive dialogue. Additionally, I collaborated with complementary student groups to ensure our events reached students across the political spectrum, facilitating a more inclusive and enriching experience for all participants.

As the Founder and President since August 2022, I have led initiatives to enhance the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) department's community at our university. I have organized bi-weekly meetings for the approximately 150 current and prospective students, fostering a space for discussion and collaboration. In addition, I have facilitated connections among students within the major, aiming to cultivate a more interconnected environment conducive to academic and personal growth. I have invited professors and alumni to engage with our members, providing valuable networking opportunities and career mentorship to help students navigate their professional journeys. Through these efforts, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching experience for all members of the PPE community.

As a member of the board of directors, I have overseen the budget to facilitate repairs and maintenance on properties owned by the association. This involved financial planning to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of community assets. With more than 40 households, addressing their concerns and fostering harmonious interactions among neighbors is my priority. By actively engaging with community members, I have worked to ensure that their interests are represented and their needs are met. Through these efforts, I am committed to promoting a thriving and well-maintained living environment for all residents.

MBL Ventures is a management consulting group for businesses, nonprofits, and the public sector. As a summer intern at MBL Ventures, I work on the State Leadership Playbook conducting background research for 20+ interviewees and drafting background primers. I also tailor interview questions and analyze interview notes and audio transcriptions to identify common findings. I draft outlines for blog posts and the Playbook.

As a teaching assistant, I engaged with a diverse group of over 150 students and led a weekly discussion section. In addition to guiding discussions, I developed hypotheticals aimed at assessing students’ comprehension of key legal concepts, including property, contracts, torts, civil procedure, and constitutional law. To enhance students' understanding of intricate legal principles, I briefed cases and created presentations on complex legal holdings found in Supreme Court and Appellate opinions. Through these efforts, I strived to foster an enriching learning environment that empowers students to grasp and apply legal theories effectively.

During my time as a Research Assistant, I undertook several key responsibilities for Dr. Spivey's forthcoming book on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. These included gathering data concerning the gender and political affiliations of state legislatures involved in the passage of anti-abortion legislation, a task crucial for understanding the legislative landscape surrounding this contentious issue. Additionally, I conducted in-depth research into legal cases relating to Dobbs v. Jackson. I also contributed to the analysis of the opinion itself, providing substantive feedback on the structure and presentation of the book.

As a fellow at the Stern Lab, I focused on gathering socio-economic and demographic data on witnesses appearing before the Maryland General Assembly. This involved meticulously collecting information from bill hearings and testimonials. Additionally, I implemented data collection through automation.

During my time as a researcher, I conducted thorough analyses of bill hearings and voting sessions held by the Judiciary and Economic Matters Committees of the Maryland General Assembly. My responsibilities included meticulously recording data on over 200 witnesses who testified before the Maryland House and Senate. This data encompassed valuable demographic information as well as the positions taken on legislation.

In my capacity as legislative aide, I've authored and delivered compelling testimony before congressional committees, advocating for impactful legislative changes. This involved close coordination with witnesses and collaboration with pertinent government departments to ensure comprehensive representation of our positions. I monitored constituent engagement, managing responses and fostering positive relations with our community members. Additionally, I conducted extensive research on legislation pertaining to critical areas such as healthcare, insurance, and poverty, providing valuable insights to inform policy development. I contributed to the drafting and advancement of 11 bills spanning finance, technology, and healthcare domains, demonstrating a commitment to driving meaningful legislative initiatives forward for the betterment of society.
