Head of the field office and principal safety advisor for South Iraq’s humanitarian access and security issues. Leading a team of 32 highly experienced conflict analysts and program staff. Coordination and liaison with over 200 NGOs, national government, international organizations, and armed groups. High-level threat analysis, risk communication, HR delivery and real-time incident monitoring in Iraq. • Conducted the first INSO Iraq field mission in 2 years, resulting in increased organisational reach to partners and enabling in-person security assistance and advice to remote operations.• Successfully managed the risk communication of significant security incidents following the Iraqi election results in October 2021, maintaining the safety of NGOs operating in and around Baghdad.• Oversaw the data-driven optimisation of the south regional review and development plan. Resulting in the increased efficiency of the reports and alerts that the south team produced, to the benefit of INSO Iraq’s NGO partners.

Short term contract supporting the country-level resource optimization efforts for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s security, health and travel infrastructure.
