As a ULA it is my primary job to ensure the safety of all persons working within the lab at any given time. This requires me to be knowledgeable on the use and safety procedures of all equipment in the lab. This equipment ranges from large wood working tools such as a band saw, CNC machine, and laser cutter down to simple tools such as a hot glue gun. Secondary to the safety of persons in the lab I am responsible for keeping it clean and organized while also keeping track of inventory stock.

At Altria I developed 3 improvement project improvement proposals for the handling and data tracking of tobacco. I engaged with vendors to explore and evaluate new technologies to implement into the Altria process. With this came creating cost benefit analysis and discussions with key stakeholders to ensure project viability.

I served as a instructor for private swim lessons at the Foxcroft neighborhood pool. I was in charge of doing my own advertising and creating my own schedule along with organizing times to use the pool with the HOA. On top of this it was my duty to create a lesson plan for every kid on a weekly basis. I worked with swimmers ages 3-12 in this role. It was critical to communicate with parents about their child's improvement after every lesson and to discuss their future goals for every kid.

As an assistant swim coach it was my job to create practices for groups of swimmers ages 3 to 18. I was tasked with daily organizational tasks to keep the pool clean and the main set up of the pool for weekly swim meets. In addition I needed to regularly discuss with parents their child's abilities and improvements on the team while also considering their future goals. During my 5 years in this role I received 3 promotions within the same title from our lowest ranking assistant coach for my first year to the highest ranking assistant for my final 3 years.
