As a Senior Race Technician at Lanzante I cover a wide range of roles from car building and restoration in the workshop, to race support at the track and CAD design to support the cars in both project development and at the track.While at Lanzante I have had the opportunity to use and expand my knowledge of CAD Solidworks software and have increased my skills and abilities. Over this time I have put these skills to use for the many projects carried out in the company as well as the many race cars and customer cars we look after and run. I also used CAD to design both interior and exterior features of the company’s modern new building. During my time at Lanzante I have been involved in four major projects set out below: • The McLaren P1 GTR road conversions where a P1 GTR track car is converted to road certified standards for UK and the rest of the world.• The McLaren Senna GTR, where a McLaren Senna track variant car called the GTR will be road converted as per the knowledge learnt from the P1 GTR.• The McLaren P1 GT & McLaren P1 GTR-18, this is a modern take on the McLaren F1 Longtail road car where a McLaren P1 GTR was modified both aesthetically and mechanically including the road conversion. • The Porsche 930TAG Turbo where we used the TAG Turbo engine from the McLaren Formula One car and fitted it to a Porsche 930 Turbo, as McLaren did as a test car back in the 80’s, but with modern mechanical and interior upgrades.

Supervisor at The Grand Pier consisted of covering many and sometimes all departments of the business to oversee the day-to-day operation and the staff, plus ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the site. • Supervision consisted of staff rotas, hours and wages, stepped in for general manager when not available, staff team leader, oversaw day-to-day activities of ride staff.• Maintenance consisted of scheduling, overseeing and hands on when required, using skills I acquired in multiple disciplines. • Worked alongside my Manager in managing the rides department whilst completing maintenance schedules on all rides and across the Retail, Catering and Events departments including security. • Some of the skills I have acquired working in this environment are: team management, cash handling, sheet vinyl application (signs), rides maintenance, kart maintenance, event set-up and clear downs for major concert and catering events from anywhere between 100 to 2000 guests, security (SIA), bar and catering work alongside events and daily supervision duties.

As a Race Team Mechanic at Kevin Mills Racing my duties were both workshop and trackside.• Preparation and essential maintenance of Spectrum Formula Fords including gearbox, engine, suspension and data logging areas.

Working as part of the team involved all aspects of a race weekend such as housekeeping of the vehicle, pit stops, pit wall and timings and also any maintenance in between each session on race days or late at night to meet deadlines.

Number 1 Mechanic at Tilling Motorsport for one full season running a Ligier JS49T. • This role involved a lot of pressure and important decisions to be made such as tyre choice and pressure, and alterations of suspension settings with driver input. • Roles I fulfilled were pit stops, pit wall and timings and general maintenance working late into the night diagnosing issues and overcoming the problems found.
