I helped achieve this through pitching to key directors on the ethos of ReSpace and how it aligns with the council’s Environmental, Ethical and Philanthropic responsibility, and ultimately convincing them of the viability and benefits of the project.In this role I had the opportunity to utilise my project management and communication skills to secure empty space, funding and in addition help enable and partake in the construction of Kentish town fair, an up cycled community space built from an abandoned car park. The space was primarily used by non – profit organisations to engage the community and provoke environmental and social change.Assisted in running workshops for residents and small businesses on ways they can tackle their carbon footprint from home, including instructing workshops on how to stay on top of ‘scope 2’ emissions utilizing Microsoft excel. This procedure was automated utilising an algorithm I created and ran on the computing platform Matlab.A 20% increase in the range of the aircraft was achieved on the same fuel capacity which subsequently correlated to a 20% decrease in the two key pollutants of aviation fuel, carbon dioxide and lead emissions.
