I continue to love being part of the Gardner team as my role has evolved to be the Museum's Director of Finance. I am responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with sound and prudent financial policies and practices consistent with GAAP and the Museum's strategic goals. Tactically this includes financial management and reporting, budgets & forecasting, internal controls design and monitoring, department leadership, capital project & revenue supervision, and extensive collaboration across departments. I continue to see Finance's role at the Gardner as serving & supporting my colleagues' work, the Museum's mission, and the community's needs by stewarding and sustaining the Museum's financial resources. At Bain Capital I served as a Senior Finance Associate on co-invest funds alongside traditional private equity funds, venture capital funds, and social impact funds. I was responsible for quarterly and annual financial reporting, asset custody, transaction planning, compliance projects, capital calls, distributions and supervising & coaching junior staff.
