As Talent Acquisition Specialist, I am responsible for the overall management of the recruitment and staffing function as part of the Hastings Human Resources division. The scope of my role covers the full life cycle recruitment activities for multiple business units, including Claim, Underwriting, Information Technology, and Finance. I partner daily with hiring leaders across the organization on identifying business needs and role objectives, while aligning to an increasingly competitive labor market. In addition, I am accountable for ensuring a top-notch candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process, administering Hastings ATS (UKGPro), and assisting with the ongoing development of our Employer Value Proposition. I enjoyed the consistent elevation of my role during my tenure with BISSELL. Human Resource professionals wear many "hats," and my experience was no exception. With a focus on Talent Acquisition, I was responsible for the coordination of the full life-cycle recruitment efforts for positions ranging from entry-level up through C-Suite, redesigning and implementing the summer intern program, partnering with global locations on open position recruitment and new-hire onboarding in addition to assisting with various annual Payroll and Benefit related projects and initiatives. Finally, I also assisted with the upgrades and implementations of various HR systems, including ADP RightThingRecruit, NuView, Adobe eSign, and Oracle Fusion HCM.

In my first professional Human Resources role, I was responsible for all store-related Human Resource functions for the then-new Davison, Michigan location, which opened with record-breaking sales results and with approximately 200 Team Members. Daily tasks included screening, interviewing, and hiring all store-level personnel while partnering with store leadership on the selection of management positions, accurately processing weekly payroll and HRIS integrity (Infor WorkBrain), overseeing defined training programs, and managing all employee relations issues and concerns.
