I have become well practiced at identifying clients' requirements from limited information, advising on practical solutions and producing competitive quotations. I continued to develop my understanding of relevant guidance, including NHBC standards, BRE SD1:2005, UKWIR guidance & the WRAP Quality Protocol. I gained significant experience liaising with subcontractors to identify capabilities and specify works and with authorities to define exact requirements. I have acquired notable experience designing & managing complex cross departmental investigations to tight deadlines, while navigating site specific constraints to achieve results. I also became well acquainted with assisting junior colleagues and assigning tasks to ensure the departments workload is handled effectively.

I gained significant experience sampling and conducting site investigations in line with BS 10175:2011 & LCRM including writing Desk Studies, conducting, supervising and reporting on intrusive site investigations, completing remediation method statements and conducting and reporting on verification exercises. I became well practiced liaising with clients & subcontractors ensuring my projects ran smoothly and efficiently. I also became familiar scheduling lab analysis, assessing results against generic human health assessment criteria, classifying waste materials under WM3 and topsoil under BS 3882:2015.

I became proficient at conducting a variety of lab and site tests on construction materials to UKAS standards and logging soils and rock to Eurocode 7 – BS 5930:2015. I also became experienced in working independently on construction sites and further developed my ability to liaise with clients to identify and meet their requirements.

I obtained experience conducting utility, GPR, topographic and tower foundation surveys, on various types of site. I was also given the responsibility of being lead surveyor on a number of occasions, completing full surveys myself, along with regularly supervising ground investigations, including boreholes and trial holes. Furthermore, I frequently liaised with clients and subcontractors, as well as working within multiple survey teams.
