Vicinity owns and/or manages approximately 61 shopping centres in Australia and is the second largest shopping centre investment and management company by GLA in Australia with over 1200 staff.During this role, I was responsible for managing the retail leasing strategy and execution across Vicinity's Premium Assets as well as the management of our Key Accounts Team that negotiated, managed and fostered the relationships of our Top 100 retailers including all Majors, Mini Majors, Luxury and Specialty retailers across the portfolio in Australia.Vicinity's Premium Assets consist of the following centres;- Chadstone- Emporium - Chatswood Chase- Queen Victoria Building- The Strand- Galleries - Queens Plaza Reporting to the COO, my role ensured that our shopping centres were fully leased, financially stable and the mix of retailers in each centre meets the needs of their targeted customer through continued strong retailer relationships.

In this role I was responsible for the overall master planning and creation of the retail plan, feasibilities and leasing strategy as well as the end-to-end delivery of the Vicinity development pipeline across all assets nationally with a view to deliver the optimal retail mix and financial returns for the projected pipeline. As a Leasing Executive, I was responsible for the delivery of the leasing strategy of the following centres ;- Northland (Development) - Bayside (Frankston)- Broadmeadows Shopping Centre- Corio Shopping Centre- Rosebud Plaza- Roxburgh Park - Brimbank Shopping Centre - Werribee Shopping CentreReporting to the Regional Manager, my role ensured that my centres were fully leased and the mix of retailers in each centre met the needs of their targeted customer. It was my role to ensure that I attracted and retained quality retailers and provided an optimal retail mix and ensured the highest shop fit-out standards were achieved through negotiations.

In this role I was responsible for managing the delivery of the Casual Leasing & Mall Media Strategy across the Gandel Group portfolio of 35 centres nationally.Reporting to the General Manager of Leasing, my role was to manage the team nationally and ensure the national portfolio of shopping centres were regularly booked on a casual basis with a mix of retailers in each centre that met the standards that were required in a high quality mall environment. My role was also responsible for the Mall Media channel and pursue new initiatives into new business channels.
