I left British Gymnastics to move into the Supplements & Features department at the regional newspaper, the Shropshire Star, one of the most highly distributed regional papers in the country. It was a very busy environment, and required a lot of organisation (especially with about five variations of the paper being printed per day, depending on what region they went to). Work had to be created promptly and to a high standard as news stories broke.

At British Gymnastics I was required to develop my print-design skills to a further level than previously. Examples of work included the re-design of British Gymnastics’ primary award scheme, the Proficiency Awards, a re-design of BGtv including logos and backdrop displays, the official year planner which is sent to all British Gymnastics members, plus other smaller projects such as involvement with the official British Gymnastics magazine, posters and programmes for all major events, as well… Show more At British Gymnastics I was required to develop my print-design skills to a further level than previously.
