ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Activities include but are not limited to the following: - Ensure Individual Program Plan (IPP) is implemented and documented.- Ensure the accomplishment of individual’s goals and behavior plans.- Oversee the safety and well-being of the individuals.- Maintain the timely completion of all records and reports, as directed by the Program Manager.- Supervise the daily shift operations of the residence.- Problem-solve daily shift issues and/or conflicts as part of the site leadership team.- Ensure effective communication of daily work information and expectations.- Maintain site staffing schedules and coverage, under the direction of the Program Manager.- Provide coaching and counseling of Resident Counselors to enhance the individual and team performance, as directed by the Program Manager.- Complete 90-day and annual DSP evaluations of Residence Counselors for approval by Program Manager.- Assist with interviews for staff vacancies as requested by Program Manager.- Arrange and assist with on-site orientation and training activities of all site staff members.- Perform duties of the Residence Counselor, as needed, including personal care.- Maintain accurate purchasing records, petty cash and personal funds.- Adhere to mandatory reporting requirements and HIPAA regulations.- Monitor operation and condition of the residential facility and supplies, ensuring building security.- Participate in activities as part of the treatment team that may include meetings, trainings, and committees.- Develop and maintain an effective communication network with the individuals, program staff, families, community agencies, and other Agency departments.- Establish a work environment that creates positive communication between supervisors and employees and assimilates new employees to the Agency- Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards.
