I was born in Virginia and lived there until 2015 when my family moved to Texas. After graduating high school in May of 2023, I began school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study political science and be in the university's Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps unit.Naval ROTC is my main extracurricular commitment at UNL. I dedicate most of my time outside of class to ROTC events such as battalion physical training (PT) and lab period. Upon graduation from the university, I will receive a commission into the United States Navy. I hope to be able to select the nuclear submarine officer path.When I am not at school in Nebraska, I work for a law firm in my hometown of New Braunfels as a legal/litigation intern. I started this experience during my senior year of high school when I took a class that allowed me to leave school about halfway through the day and "shadow" at an office/business of potential career interest. The owner of the firm offered me a paid internship during the summer following graduation and I graciously accepted. I am grateful for the amazing opportunity I have had to learn so much and get real experience at such an early point in my career.
