The role was to setup and maintain procedures for the centralization of all activities associated with Medium Voltage projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa. A typical Medium Voltage project duration varies from 6-12 months. Medium voltage drives are engineered specifically to customer requirements and includes the integration into the customers factories / facilities.Responsibilities:• Coordinate projects from quotation stage, working closely with EMEA sales in individual countries to negotiate final term and condition approvals, technical details, financial margin analysis, subsequent booking of revenue and the production of hardware from our factory in Canada;• Centralized coordination of Medium voltage field engineers, working closely with customer to avoid unplanned factory closures and costly contract penalties;• Allocate project management resources where required;• Monthly coordination of shipping forecast meetings to ensure accurate reporting and financial shipping recognition subject to withstand audit at any time; • Closure of projects following final acceptance from customer, completion of payment and margin analysis before handover to the customer service division;• Customer visits, factory witness tests and internal training within European sales offices;• Purchaser for European Supply Chain Operations.
