Responsible for the planning and execution of business development and marketing activity throughout Australia and New Zealand for Transfield Services' infrastructure business, reporting to the CEO. Mandate across a $2bn portfolio, with annual compound growth of 23% p.a. Sector coverage included Transportation (Road, Rail and Public Transport), Utilities (Water and Power) and Facilities and Asset Management (Government and non Government)In excess of $1bn work won.

For the global engineering firm Arup, responsible for the strategy and management of all aspects of Business Development activity in the Australasian region, covering Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, PNG, the Pacific Islands and New Zealand. Consulting revenue in excess of $250 million per annum.

Provided Professional Advisory Services to clients within the Sports & Entertainment, Property and Financial Services industries. Identified and negotiated diverse business arrangements in Australia, USA and Europe. Managed multiple project teams of lawyers, accountants, consultants, designers, marketers, publicists, authors, promoters and other professionals.• Managed and controlled all business, commercial and legal affairs for several world champion athletes.• Negotiated and managed contracts with counterparties in Australia, Russia and America, including multi-million dollar Promotional Agreements and Broadcast Agreements with US-based event promoters and television networks, and sponsorship and endorsement contracts throughout these regions.• Successfully launched several projects into the Australian marketplace, including "best selling" sporting equipment range, books and DVD’s. Negotiated television and public appearance contracts. Launched and managed a transactional web site with over 20,000 members.

Accountable for the management and growth of several subsidiary entities, with turnover exceeding $50 million.• Board member of Melbourne Stadiums (now Etihad Stadium). Responsible for commercial management of Seven’s investment in the asset, including signage rights, ticketing rights and naming rights.• Board member of several other Seven Network subsidiaries, including Petrol Records, Medallion Club, Austext, MarketCast and TalentWorks.

Structured and negotiated through to completion several large development projects throughout Australia with projects valued at over $A750million. • Negotiated funding arrangements with banking syndicates and investors; structured and negotiated arrangements with government authorities. Created joint venture and consortium relationships with project partners.• Managed the successful financial close of several projects, including the Docklands Stadium PPP: Arranged finance for works valued at $A460 million, including financial structuring, equity and debt, government and significant stakeholder negotiations.

Participated in the development and financing of several large infrastructure projects. Conducted debt negotiations. Wrote prospectus for equity participation. Projects included:• Australis Media, the first Australian Pay TV broadcaster, which later evolved into Foxtel,• Sydney 2000 Olympic Stadium. Participated in all aspects of the $A600 million transaction, including securing of funding, contractual structuring and commercial negotiations and launching of the public float.• Client management responsibilities in the broader Asia Pacific region, including Bojonegara Port Authority in Indonesia and the Xiamen Government in China.
