In the summer of 2022 I completed my first internship at Aegon Asset Management in the Real Assets division. While Interning there I completed the following.• I conducted monthly borrower checklist reviews of to assist loan officers in ensuring projects maintained Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) eligibility.• I conducted a property site visit of LIHTC project with team members obtaining valuable insight into how loan underwriters value and structure the deal.• I created spreadsheet to analyze underwritten versus actual capital contributions and distributions for the loan underwriter to assess impact of rate increase on team’s first ESG-centric equity investment on a 296-unit multi-family complex transition to an efficient complex.Being apart of a winning team culture through athletics throughout high school and into college has shaped me into the individual I am today. My strongest skill is my ability to be an active listener and effectively communicate with others. This is why my plan is to pursue a career in sales.
