In addition I have worked to provide customers with analytical standards and methods for print analysis. I regularly use GC-FID, GC-MS, FTIR, and DSC, and occasionally use TGA, LS-MS, DART-MS, particle size.

Developed novel scale inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors for a variety of water treatment customers including the oil and gas industry.Researched simple solutions to customer complaints.Created novel formulations incorporation in-house polymer products and innovative solutions to meet customer standards and needs.Managed safety and regulatory information.

I am responsible for coordinating, reviewing, selecting, and acted as primary contact for the programming offered at the 5th national conference.

I offer tutoring services to students studying in the Terre Haute area. A majority of my students are high school students seeking help in mathematics, chemistry, and/or physics. I also have several students studying at ISU who require help in general chemistry.

While a graduate student I assisted the department by grading homework and lab reports for freshmen and sophomore level classes. I also acted as a teachers assistant for both general chemistry and organic chemistry laboratory sessions.

I developed non-halogen flame retardants, smoke suppressants, and intumescents for polymerapplications. I also worked with a variety of polymer processing equipment and instruments such as a brabender, a thermogravimetric analyzer, an x-ray diffraction, and an x-ray fluorescence.

Terre Haute, Indiana Area

I performed a study on the relationship between functional groups and halide placement inSuzuki cross-couplings. Our team determined whether changes in alkali base had an effect on product yield. I also instructed students on the proper use of the microwave reactor.

I act as support for the four full time staff at the SRC. During my shift, I manage the student workers who work in the weight room as well as the front desk. I am also responsible for opening and closing the building.

I acted as a guide for the incoming freshmen. I planned events for the floor, such as cook outs and generally hanging out. I also helped provide guidance and support as the students transitioned from high school to college.

I managed three staff who together taught almost 20 merit badges. I also instructed scouts between the ages of eight and eighteen. I was responsible for the well-being of my staff and the maintenance of the area.
