-Supervise work group-Lead or direct fire, ems, rescue, ARFF, and hazmat activities-Serve as initial on scene commander-Perform and oversee training-Performs policy review, record keeping, and strategic planning

-Serve as primary hazmat group supervisor-Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service. -Operate emergency response apparatus. -Respond to, mitigate, prevent and at times clean-up hazardous materials and or chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons of mass destruction incidents.
