I joined IRCH to take over the refactoring of Retention Manager software using the c#.Net and SQL Server into a Windows 8 compatible Winforms application that mirrored the previous dBase application functionality. I managed up to 4 contractor developers, and made several improvements to the codebase and application documentation, including the elimination of redundant methods, documenting the application design and functionality, migration to Object-Oriented instead of procedural patterns, introduction of threading and improved the deliverability of the application. Before I was able to release a beta, the company suffered significantly from the loss of it largest client and was forced to abandon the project.

Senior Consultant. My main objective was to bring my experience and expertise to benefit the operations and services for ATS clients. I improved the utilization of MSDN services, improved the Team Foundation Server (TFS) operations, and helped stabilize the Virtual Machine (VM) environments for Development, Staging and Production. I also led several team building exercises and training initiatives. Additionally, I took on the most difficult clients and projects at ATS:National Ski Patrol• Created an Education Portal for creating and managing Continuing Education courses in ASP.Net using c# and SQL Server with custom web service based integration to iMIS for backend management.Messenger International• Engineered data integration between iMIS and Magento CMS using custom web services.

My initial objective when joining MSTA was to create a solution for new member online join where it was not supported by their iMIS membership management system. Upon achieving this goal and presenting my solution at a NiUG (National iMIS Users Group) convention, I received an award and began teaching a 2-day SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) class at the quarterly NiUG conventions. My main project was the development of a custom Learning Management System with e-Commerce functionality for the Missouri University of Science & Technology Extension based on .NetNuke (dotNetNuke), SQL Server and Windows Server 2003. My objective as a Solutions Consultant was to provide Subject Matter Expertise to support the long-term business process integration of SumTotal Systems LMS software. In doing so I accomplished several wins for my clients:Provided subject matter expertise, user acceptance testing, system architecture and engineering for an integration of QuestionMark Perception and SumTotal Systems Aspen Learning Management System (LMS) to a global audience at Microsoft• Designed a Single Sign On (SSO) integration with the Microsoft internal network to facilitate the LMS implementation • Produced a streamlined authoring process solution for Microsoft that enabled reductions associated with the learning management system while allowing faster deployment and allowing customer support operations to reduce their training costs by $500,000.• Developed LMS support documentation and service management utilizing SharePoint technologies.Provided onsite and remote long-term solution management for Volkswagen of America’s (VWOA) SumTotal Systems TotalLMS solution ensuring alignment with corporate technology standards and International dealership and service training requirements.• Collaborated with VWoA management and vendors to migrate satellite-based global interactive training system to LMS-based system, saving approximately $2 million per year in costs. • Identified errors and omissions in data that found over $80,000 in unbilled VWOA training expenses to dealers.• Worked with VWOA Brand Learning Academies to develop process, integration and reporting solutions to meet the needs of the groups involved.• Developed and implemented technology standards for LMS content development (SCORM, AICC) and management across all VWOA Academies.
