Prior to working for the State of Missouri, I attended the Missouri University of Science and Technology where I enrolled in courses for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electronics. This education was in addition to a decade of self-lead experience in computing and electronics that had allowed me to earn a CompTIA A+ Professional Certification on scholarship in 2003. Combined with 7 years of supporting the State of Missouri, my experiences have laid a strong foundation for a continuing career in Information Technology through a passion for technology and skilled problem solving.I approach technical support roles with the perspective that the best solution to issues is a well-informed and well-equipped user-base. Every resolution is an opportunity to help a customer become more resourceful and know how to avoid the issue in the future. I have long established a track record of assisting end-users as extensively as possible, including providing in depth walk-throughs of solutions, demonstrating advanced or obscure features of software and hardware, and improving end-users' computer work-flows through offering streamlined procedures and automation.The overall drive behind my efforts in IT is enabling others to make efficient and novel use of technology. As my career advances I hope to find opportunities to expand my knowledge and responsibilities into more demanding roles, including network and system administration.
