Hi, I’m Matt. I strive to build performant web and mobile applications that provide a great user experience.I was exposed to software development in high school. In college, I learned the basics: OOP, DSA, computer architecture, game/app development, etc. Since then, I've specialized in full-stack web development with a focus on the front end. I am most familiar with the MERN (Mongo, Express/Nest, React, Node) stack.My most recent and relevant experience was working on a startup called HiNight, whose mission was to develop software that facilitated real-world experiences. At HiNight, I worked closely with cross-functional teams, including non-technical members, to brainstorm, design, develop, test, and deploy two full-stack mobile applications. I drove the entire product and software development lifecycle, actively contributing to brainstorming sessions, explaining technical intricacies, defining UX flows, creating wireframes, making crucial architecture decisions; and of course, writing code. The experience served as a profound learning opportunity, not only in software development but also in design, product development, marketing, and more.
