"Making a difference, one person/project at a time" – This is my personal mission statement that guides me through all my business and volunteering ventures with Professional Engineer Ontario. After graduating from U of T in 1992, I have worked in the consumer and automotive industry as a Mechanical Engineer with 3 main personal values: Positive, Considerate, and Knowledgeable. I was fortunate enough to work for some industry leaders like Procter & Gamble and Multimatic Inc. Through these experiences, I learned the importance of understanding on customers’ needs and strength through technology. Currently, I am the president of Lake Harbour Ltd. Co. LHC offers multi-disciplinary engineering services, from small-scale to large-scale, for clients worldwide. We have a team of experienced engineers who specialize in mechanical and electro-mechanical design. We also offer manufacturing solutions with our global supplier base. In pursuit of better work life balance, I chose to take on an entrepreneur role where I can apply my knowledge with an additional degree of freedom. Knowledge transfer and creating a win-win synergy with my customers, employees and suppliers are my top priorities. Since I was young, I’ve always enjoyed building Lego. I find the potential to piece together simple blocks to form a complex appealing model very rewarding and fascinating. LHC was founded on a similar philosophy; by following systematic procedures, our employees work together seamlessly to deliver a high-quality, creative products for our customers.
