This summer I have worked to gain a solid understanding of the DHL Supply Chain operation. Specifically I am stationed their Scotts Miracle Grow account in Channahon, IL. Within doing so I have had the opportunity to work side by side with both hourly associates and upper level managers. While completing my everyday activities I also had the opportunity to collaborate on a project with some of my fellow interns looking at the Mars site located in Joliet, IL. All of the hard work throughput the summer culminated at the Capstone event held by the college recruiting team in Westerville, OH. Here my team and I were able to network with other interns, as well as business partners who hold operational and functional roles throughout the company. All of this was leading to our final presentation of our project regarding the Mars operation.
