Matty was our studio’s only producer for the majority of our time together–a challenging and often uncharted role given that we worked for a constantly evolving startup. As our team grew from six to ten to eventually fifteen people, Matty single-handedly developed the briefing systems and project management tools that kept us all on track. When the creatives needed support with storyboarding, design, video-editing, and more, Matty jumped right into Adobe Suite and helped get the job done. The pace was rapid and the workload could get heavy, but Matty was always one-step ahead. When I began supporting Matty as an associate producer, he made a seamless transition from a one-man-show into a caring and supportive leader. He taught me countless lessons about production with patience and a smile. It was Matty and the studio he helped build that made my first production experience so rewarding.
