MIG is graduate-level student-run investment group at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business in association with the Cameron Center for Finance and Securities Analysis. The group closely collaborates with faculty to implement the latest and most effective industry practices into their investment strategy. They aim to follow up a bottoms-up selection process to drive their positive alpha. The group benefits from program resources and initiatives to produce a streamlined beginning-to-end investment process featuring all of the essential security analysis, portfolio construction, risk decomposition, style analysis, and performance attribution tools needed for professional-caliber money management.

Assisted in all aspects of appraisal engagements including industry and economic research and analysis, financial analysis, peer group research and analysis, capital market research, and financial modeling. Engaged in over a dozen projects spanning various industries such as real estate, construction, engineering, transportation management, and retail; mainly involving employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) valuations.

Consolidated key inputs and conducted quantitative analysis on product category margins to support financial decision-making. Collaborated with diverse cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, project management, supply chain, and operations, for financial analysis, investment evaluation, and budgeting. Additionally, reconciled balances in various general ledger accounts and integrated forecast data for the 2024 budget, enabling efficient expense monitoring. For a final project, presented a comprehensive finance costing model for a 2024 product collection launch to 30 attendees.

Shadowed and assisted in dozens of banker activities weekly, such as account creation, loan closures, Key's investment services, wealth management, and financial wellness reviews, developing an extensive knowledge of commercial banking structures and services. Provided exceptional bank services, including handling teller transactions, account inquiries, and consultations for over 100 clients per week. Along with daily responsibilities, led a team of four in analyzing the efficiency of Key's bank-at-work program and presented revamped business model to a panel of 14 retail market executives.
