I am a third-year Bachelor’s student in Governance and Public Policy at the University of Passau, studying an interdisciplinary program that spans political science, law, and economics. My journey into understanding diverse countries, cultures, and experiences began in grade 10 at Trinity College School and was further enriched by a summer school at the University of Oxford, where I gained valuable insights into the impacts of globalization.Currently, as a Student Assistant at the University of Passau, I provide administrative support and edit academic articles, honing my meticulous attention to detail and bilingual proficiency in English and German. Our team’s innovative digital format project aims to enhance higher education teaching, reflecting my commitment to academic excellence and practical pedagogical advancements.As a Student Tutor in Comparative Government, I engaged with over a hundred students through presentations, significantly improving course grades and earning a nomination for the faculty’s best teaching award. This experience complements my studies in Governance and Public Policy, where I explore political structures and processes, reinforcing my dedication to public service and policy development.My work at the Chair for Comparative Government has deepened my understanding of political cultures, governmental structures, and political processes worldwide. I am particularly interested in development politics, focusing on infrastructure development, the rule of law, strengthening democratic institutions and processes, and addressing the climate crisis in the Global South.
