Als Raumplaner unterstütze ich nachhaltige räumliche Entwicklungen von Städten und Regionen. Für die Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) habe ich in diversen Ländern an Projekten zur Sicherung von Landrechten und der Etablierung moderner Planungssysteme mitgewirkt und das Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit (BMZ) beraten. Momentan arbeite ich für die Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden an der Erarbeitung eines neuen Flächennutzungsplans, um die räumliche Entwicklung Wiesbadens für die nächsten 20 Jahre zu steuern. As a planner I support sustainable spatial development of cities and regions. My work is based on comprehensive interdisciplinary knowledge, methods of integrative and participatory planning processes and the generation and analysis of geodata. I enjoy working at the interface between political, social, legal and technical concerns, that have to be integrated in spatial planning. For GIZ I worked on various international projects dealing with securing land rights and establishing modern planning systems. Also, I advised the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.Currently I work for the municipality of Wiesbaden on a new comprehensive land use plan that will guide spatial development of the city in the next 20 years.
