Matthias is currently Senior manager at PwC Belgium Risk Assurance team - focussing on GRC.GRC is the umbrella term covering an organization's approach across three areas: Governance, risk management, and compliance.Providing governance, risk and compliance services means helping organisations with their corporate governance frameworks, facilitating risk assessments, performing (institutional) compliance audits, performing SOx audits and setting up risk, internal control and internal audit functions.Scope of work related to;- Internal audit assignments- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM / COSO), risk analysis- Internal controls; Controls testing, optimisation of business processes, Internal control framework implementations- (J)SOx assignments; SOx implementation, management testing, process level controls- Business process controls assessments- Fraud investigationsMatthias has a wide experience of audits within different sectors in the public and private sector, and has experience with working with multinational companies and Non-Governmental Organisations.Clients include multinationals and local government agencies and departments. As well as international donors, including the European Commission, European Structural Funds and EU-programmes.As senior manager, he leads the engagement team and the team draw on his profound expertise in providing the client with the requested professional service.
