Focused on building large-scale collaborations within the global R&D ecosystem, I work with diverse partners, including big pharma, biotech, academia, foundations, and investors.As an early-stage investor and advisor, I serve on the boards of IMIDomics, Inc., driving innovations in immune-mediated diseases, and Angelini Ventures. I also support initiatives like the Institute of Biomedical Innovation Lower Saxony and Global Biotech Revolution’s GapSummit, helping young researchers and innovators thrive.Most recently, I was Chief Business Officer at Evotec SE, where I led partnering and business development, driving top-line growth, the Just-Evotec Biologics business, technology, and strategy. During my 2.5 years at Evotec, I gained deep operational experience, overseeing the wider launch of the AI-driven Just-Evotec biologics platform for continuous manufacturing, producing low-cost, high-quality biologics. I also guided the company through a successful recovery from a 2023 cyber-attack.With a background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, alongside over 20 years as a former McKinsey Senior Partner and global co-leader of R&D in Life Sciences, I have a strong understanding of strategy, operations, and performance transformations in biotech and pharma.In my downtime, I enjoy exploring the world, biohacking and longevity research, and spending time with my family. I am committed to honoring my wife’s Chinese heritage and our sons’ cultural legacy. I also enjoy reading, sustainable cooking, music, and a variety of sports.
