I am a theoretical physicist by training holding a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.In the past few years I have shifted my professional interest towards data science and the process of obtaining data and transforming it into valuable information.More specifically I have studied in some detail *) statistics and data analysis using tools such as Mathematica, R, and Python *) data warehousing (Data Vault 2.0)*) GIS/GIT (Geographic Information Systems/Technology) and its various applications to address geospatial and geophysical problems with tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS. *) cartography (using QGIS and Adobe Illustrator)*) geophysical applications of methods from high energy particle physics (a field dubbed 'geoparticle' physics), in particular applications of muon radiography and tomography. In the future, I would like to develop my professional career towards applications of data science in the fields of GIS, environmental and renewable energy consulting, or the green technology and non-profit sector at large.Here is an overview of my abilities:Excellent organizational and analytical skills; expertise in theoretical physics with a focus on string theory, cosmology and related subjects; excellent language (german, english, spanish, portuguese and basic french) and computer skills (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Python, R, Mathematica, Matlab, Maple); strong team player;Agile Project Management: certified scrum master and product owner;Requirments Engineering.
