• Designed, developed and coordinated the “OAS Fellowship on Open Government in the Americas”, a leadership program on transparency, citizen participation and civic innovation harnessing new technologies.• Raised 100% of the project budget ($1,500,000), including own and team´s salary, through new strategic partnerships with OAS member states and permanent observers, foundations, private sector actors, and multilateral organizations.• Managed to establish the program, within two years, as one of the OAS’ flagship products on transparency and participation and position it as a reference in the worldwide Open Government arena.• Summarized the methodology, impact and learnings of the program´s first three years in a comprehensive report.• Achieved that the German government included the OAS as a host organization in its prestigious “Carlo Schmid Program for Internships in International Organizations and EU Institutions”, and organized and supervised the first two German interns at the OAS, before establishing the cooperation long-term.

• Managed the project “Shaping change – Strategies of development and transformation”, including the young leaders program “Transformation Thinkers” for decision-makers from transition countries (in co-operation with GIZ), and the “Bertelsmann Transformation Index BTI”, one of the world´s leading governance indices.• Developed a new program on “The role of religion in modern society” (2007-2009); co-coordinated a program on “International cultural dialogue” (2005-2007); and served as a liaison officer for the Foundation’s Barcelona office (2006-2007).• Planned and conducted training programs for diverse audiences and organized conferences with heads of state and government as well as high-level representatives from business, academia, the media, and civil society. • Achieved that the German government included the Bertelsmann Foundation as a host organization in its prestigious “CrossCulture Internship Program” for young professionals from the Islamic world, and organized and supervised the first African intern at the Foundation, before establishing the cooperation long-term.• Formed a mobility team within the Foundation that negotiated a highly discounted job ticket for all interested employees; new state-of-the-art bike racks; showers for cycling commuters; and a bike-sharing station on the Foundation premises, in addition to several foundation-wide energy-saving measures.
