My mission is to support startups and corporates by building, coaching and investing to make the world safer and more sustainable.I joined Julian Paß on his journey to grow Pass Testing Solutions as a Managing Director and shareholder. Together we will build the future in Embedded System Testing to make mobility safer and more sustainable.I founded WIRKFELD to share my knowledge and experience in Venture Clienting and Corporate Innovation to Make Corporate Venturing work.I learned about a new way how Venture Building could be done from 9.5 Ventures - the only VC focusing purely on Corporate Ventures - and support them as Ambassador. I was lucky to get the chance to support Planet A Foods, BB Mobility, LEATO and cogniBit on their journey to make the world safer and more sustainable.I founded 27pilots and was heading all customer projects as a managing director. I grew the team to 20 FTE within 3 years. I built and operated with my team 6 Venture Client Units at corporates (e.g. BMW, BOSCH, HOLCIM, BSH). I successfully exited the company in 2021 which is now part of Deloitte.I have hands-on experience in setting up and leading companies and I have a strong network to potential corporate clients. I have a deep understanding of corporate thinking, processes and politics. I assessed +1.500 tech startups from a client perspective and I brought +150 startups in first business relationships with corporates. Prior to 27pilots, I spent 14 years at BMW, where I invented and developed the Venture Client model to solve a critical challenge: How to benefit from many more top startups faster, and at lower cost and risk than possible through traditional corporate venturing. I implemented the Venture Client model by founding and managing the BMW Startup Garage, the world's first Venture Client unit, for 3 years. I worked in every corporate role related to innovation from innovation project lead, innovation portfolio management till leading the corporate innovation process. Before I was a scientist and did my PhD in safety engineering with focus on predictive analytics and safety analysis. Besides that I received an MBA in Innovation and Business Creation from TU Munich, UC Berkeley, and HHL.
