PhD research:I conduct research on strategic opportunities of commodity producers / sole proprietors in global value chains. I make use of strategic management and entrepreneurship literature. The data have been collected in Ethiopia among sesame seed farmers. The research contributes to discussions on opportunities of firms and entrepreneurs in global value chains to benefit from participation in global trade.
