I work within Triton's Ocean Systems team to design, prototype, and iterate new products to meet Navy needs. Core responsibilities include: design and test of mechanical systems for ocean deployment, preparation for manufacture and assembly of prototypes, coding MATLAB and Python scripts to process multi-sensor time series data, authoring reports and updates for customer communication. Recently I spearheaded a Phase I SBIR project to develop a novel means of conducting seismic subterranean imaging of marine structures. I am currently working on projects involving design of custom hydraulic mechanisms for use on submarines, hydrodynamic flow control devices, and novel ocean acoustic sensors.

Notable work includes creating of custom hydraulic tooling for underwater environments, assisting in the design of a novel sonobuoy array design, and participating in offshore testing of towed prototypes.

I worked with a team at UNH to design, fabricate, and refine a 10 meter long, recirculating, open channel flume for use in nearshore dynamics research. I have spearheaded the mechanical design of the project from concept, to SolidWorks assembly, to fabrication and assembly. I manage the mechanical design team for the project.

Responsible for setting up test apparatuses to measure response and beampattern of multiple transducer arrays. Worked in MATLAB and LabView to interface Pre-amp, ADC, and DAQ to a PC based setup. Worked in the Chase engineering tank hanging acoustic targets and setting up autonomous beampattern tests of hydrophones and transducers. Soldered custom waterproof connectors and fabricated hydrophone array brackets.
