Matthias is an award winning digital artist who is specialized in developing interactive Virtual Humans for VR, AR and even still the flat screen.From 1999 till 2014 Matthias has worked in the film industry as animator and animation supervisor on blockbusters like "I,Robot", "Flags Of Our Fathers" and "Pirates of the Caribbean, At Worlds End".With productions like Academy Award winning "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "Tron: Legacy", "Virtual Tupac" and "Maleficent" he has become an expert for human facial animation.During this time he acquired tremendous knowledge of the subtleties of human behavior, the essence of what makes a character human. This is the foundation of his approach for developing believable interactive digital humans.Having experimented for many years with Unity3D in his free time, Matthias ultimately decided to change the course of his professional life in 2014 and is now exclusively working with real time engines (mostly Unreal Engine) where he mainly focuses on developing interactive and autonomous virtual humans.
