As an associate I work on a little bit of everything. I have compliance experience from working on a variety of entity and individual returns as well as consulting experience. Consulting experience:-Part of the Buy side team of an acquisition. Performed tax due diligence and conducted interviews of the target. Organized a team of specialists to analyze the target's past tax fillings and spot potential issues. Delivered a final report of our findings to the client in which we advised the client to lower the purchase price of the acquisition to accommodate for fines and penalties associated with the target's tax compliance deficiencies. -Participated in the review of a transfer pricing agreement between an international parent and its US subsidiary. Analyzed the policy from federal and state tax perspectives and coordinated with experts to provide review points on the policy. I was responsible for organizing the communication between BDO's national experts and the Seattle team.
