Development of a consumer mobile app with the goal of providing early neuro disorder detection tools to every iPhone owner.Extensive use of Image processing tools (Pillow and OpenCV - Python) and Deep Learning algorithms (CNNs for Computer Vision). Worked with IBM's HIPAA compliant Cloud (MongoDB) and Microsoft Azure Dev Ops tools.As a Data Scientist, I imagined ways of using the data collected with BioTrillion's App to define new digital biomarkers, looking for signs of developing neurologic diseases (Alzheimer's) and signs of cognitive activity (thinking) or impairment (alcohol and drug consumption).But most importantly, I learned the ins and outs of building a start up.We were only three people in the team, which meant completing diverse tasks (fundraising, technical development and quality monitoring, business development, IP, grant writing, HR...) with tight deadlines and a demanding leadership.Living in the Bay Area also allowed me to attend several startup events and courses (e.g. UC Berkeley's NSF I-Corps Short Program).Not to mention that with COVID we faced new challenges every day.

Deep dive into the IoT technology (the data generators of tomorrow) through different missions for WND Group in Mexico (Sigfox's unique operator in LatAm and UK):- Building prototypes from scratch- Discussions with potential clients to widen Sigfox's network in LatAm- Establishment of new partnerships and development of tailored IoT solutions for new clients

Associate for a project on marketing personalization for an entertainment retailer:- Integration of a new CRM tool (cooperation with client's team to imagine new offers and ways to create a more personalized CRM)- Mobile app review in order to improve overall UX and personalizationWork in collaboration with BCG Gamma team on more technical issues:- Implementation of new ways to gather data on customers' behavior and identity- Development of a Machine Learning model to solve cold start problem for recommendations (learn what kind of products/services customers like in order to recommend new products/services every week): multi-layer neural network including a similarity computation (attributes TFIDF and cosine similarity) and logistic regression to predict customer's likelihood to adhere to new products/services

Analysis of large datasets and creation of new metrics and dashboards using Google Analytics, BigQuery, Python and Tableau for the Product Development team (reported directly to the CEO).Automatization of operational processes with the creation of a completely new database and the development of its web-based front-end.Migration of the company’s entire database from SQL to NoSQL + ElasticSearch & Kibana, enabling the implementation of new tools for the Operations team and of Machine learning models for the Product management team.
