I work as part of a small team of people to initiate, organise and run events for current and graduated Geology students at UWA. These events are usually aimed at connecting students with attending companies and each other.

I work with a small team of like minded people who enjoy engineering and fabrication. We run the Makers laboratory and workshop space as well as events for students and engineering companies, often coordinating with other clubs such as Robotics and EEEWA (electrical engineering club).

I worked with highly qualified academics in geology and chemistry, such as Kliti Grice (WA scientist of the year 2022), Amy Elson and Luke Brosnan. We undertook multiple projects analysing exceptionally preserved fossils to determine the paleoenvironments of the time and place they originated. These projects involved extensive physical and chemical preparation of the fossils for mass spectrometry, then data analysis and interpretation of results. I also helped with 3d modelling and 3D printing physical models of fossils that could not be extracted from matrix for the paleontologist Steve Poropat.
