Overall responsibility for setting the crash algorithm parameters and sensing strategy of the airbagelectronic modules for a specific vehicle platform:• Understand and process the crash data coming from the OEM barrier• Simulate the deployment times from the different crash algorithms• Set the adjustable algorithm parameters to meet the customer requirements and when needed, organize teamcalibrations, to solve technical problems in group-setting• Lead final technical reviews with the team• Present the calibration strategies and potential trade-offs to the customer• Negotiate the calibration trade-offs directly with the OEM• Sign-off the calibration validation results from the hardware-in-the-loop-testing• Create calibration reports• Mentor new team members as well as provide support to our global teamsProvide support to the software team and product assurance team in the implementation of the crashalgorithms in the airbag modules:• Comprehend the new algorithms, including the specification• Understand the specific needs of each customer• Specify new algorithm features in order to meet those needs• Support the validation of new algorithms• Present new algorithms features to the customer
