• Create and execute the Global Data Protection Management Program.• Supervise the successful implementation of the data protection corporate governance strategy.• Establish and delineate data protection frameworks related to national and international healthcare projects, products, and services.• Operationalize the group´s compliance with international laws and regulations.• Consolidate and harmonize data protection and digital ethics legal requirements and industry standards.• Oversee international operations and implement effective and realistic data protection by design and by default.• Group Data Protection Officer and international DPO in Kenya, Colombia, and Vietnam.• Advise board members and support business digitalization strategies.• Act as a legal advisor to executive functions on data protection related issues.• Organize global risk assessment and implement effective strategies to identify, mitigate, and anticipate company exposure, enhance competitive advantage, and deliver actionable and valuable reports.• Collaborate with the group CFO to review the budget allocated to data protection to optimize and improve its efficiency.• Liaise with other legal functions to enhance the effectiveness of legal support including workflows, resource allocation, and staffing.• Review the accuracy of all policies and procedures to comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations, as well as healthcare specific industry standards.• Act as the final point of contact for any data protection related decisions, requests, or inquiries within the group and subsidiaries.

• Serve as an internal advisor, to the business, to efficiently (and effectively) manage internal (and external) data privacy inquiries.• Data privacy and compliance liaison to the business, to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.• Manage external data privacy audits, such as GDPR and HIPAA compliance.• Ensure applicable privacy and security requirements are incorporated in Policies, SOPs, and other controls, implemented for a project, product, or platform.• Drive data privacy training and awareness, globally, across all business units to ensure compliance with Program requirements.• Manage unauthorized disclosure/data breach - Complete the necessary UDR documentation, including the applicable risk assessment - Complete the necessary UDR documentation, including the applicable risk assessment - Manage any associated complaint or CAPA report - Generate a monthly UDR metrics report to be supplied to key business stakeholders.• Maintain and execute, the Program monitoring, in addition to supporting any monitoring documentation updates required, e.g. SOP, data privacy monitoring checklist, executive report, and executive summary, to ensure compliance with Program requirements and applicable data privacy and security laws and regulations.• Perform ongoing monitoring of all company business units; document the results and implement any corrective actions or remediation that may be required.• Assist with fulfilling subject access requests, including documenting the necessary information and liaising with key stakeholders, where required.• Maintains all related Program data in the central database to ensure that accurate and concise information is obtained and captured to allow reporting of Program-related obligations.• Provide any due diligence support required for external vendors, including review of any required data privacy impact assessment checklist(s) and full assessment.
