• Used ultra-fast optical lasers and X-ray Free Electron Lasers to uncover the physics of molecular reactions through visualizing molecular structure.
• Implemented multiple non-linear regression models and numerical algorithms (integrating Molecular Dynamics simulations) to analyse experimental data sets (Python, numpy, scipy, lmfit).
• Set up an international team of scientists, scheduled the activities and objectives for multiple projects at foreign synchrotron and X-ray Free Electron Laser facilities.
• Lead 4 successful international proposals for experimental lab time including a project plan, identifying and implementing risk mitigation, and experimental objectives.
• Research and Development (R&D) of a liquid jet nozzle. Produced the final product for a fraction of the cost (a factor 50 less) of the commercial equivalent.

• Applied robust outlier rejection (MAD) and singular value decomposition techniques to decrease the uncertainty of the measured data (from >100% to 10 %) which lead to a peer-reviewed publication.
• Prototyping experimental equipment in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary teamincluding scientists and technicians, involving the use of CAD software.
