I am the competence lead for the adhesive bonding competence in Operations. The competence provides the ASML Operations department (worldwide) with state of art means and methods to guarantee the quality of adhesive bonds in its products. The competence has 4 main tasks:* SUPPORT the operations department to execute adhesive bonding processes.* STANDARDIZE procedures and processes to enable common ways of working.* CHECK compliance of the manufacturing locations to agreed standards.* IMPROVE continuously to reduce cost, improve output and quality.The adhesive bonding competence is part of the EF PS Production Engineering department.

As a continuation of OM&T B.V., Lumiteq B.V. was started and I was employed there. My focus in the work shifted more towards the new business creation, where i was looking at new applications for the texturization process. The work included feasibility studies and close cooperation with external parties such as potential new customers.

At OM&T, I worked as a senior development engineer. The aim of OM&T is to offer a total solution for making advanced textured substrates. Such substrates could be used in advanced products such as photo voltaic panels, OLED lighting panels, and large area displays (e.g. 3D displays). Personally, I was the "spider in the web" for imprinting process development. Associated skills are carrying out research experiments, product tuning, material research, translating the experimental findings into hardware development, reporting and presenting results, including patent applications. Examples of used technologies: various coating techniques, nano/micro imprinting, and UV curing.At OM&T, I have followed various courses, to name a few:- statistics (by CQM)- project based working (by AMI Consultancy)I have received the "TIPS award" (category teamwork), which is a company wide award for demonstrators of the company values.

Project leader for technical development projects. Projects are aimed at improvement or development of production processes of optical media, in particular recordable and re-writable Blu-Ray disc. Projects focused on cycle time reduction, quality and yield improvement. Way of working based on training Project Based Working by AMI consultancy.

Overall specialist for the (pilot-) production process of recordable and re-writable Blu Ray disc. Specialist for the cover layer process, in which a thin film UV curable resin is spin coated on the surface of a disc. Additionally i was supporting development activities on Professional Disc and Test Discs.Work includes; process tuning, process optimization, technical experiments, product analysis, documentation generation such as technical reports and process manuals, operator training and sales support.
