Als KNA archeoloog (MA) neem ik deel aan de gravende projecten (proefsleuven, opgravingen) van ADC Beesd. Hiervoor voer ik zowel voorbereidende als uitvoerende taken uit in de logistiek van deze projecten en de interpretatie en administratie van de velddata. Daarnaast verzorg ik de verslaglegging van kleine tot middelgrote projecten, van evaluatie tot definitieve rapportage. My own research focusses on the proto-historical archaeology of central Italy (Latium Vetus) during the Early Iron Age till Archaic period (ca. 800-500 BC). My main research subjects concern the social structures and relationships constructed through funerary practices and the interconnectivity reflected in funerary material cutlure. I have participated in multiple fieldwork projects throughout Italy since 2012. Amongst these projects are foremost the excavations at the sites of Satricum and Crustumerium near Rome. Here I have worked as a trench leader at excavations of the Iron Age and Archaic settlement and necropolis as well as the Roman villas at both sites.
